ForwardMotion services resume as lockdown eases

We are excited to announce that ForwardMotion services are gradually returning, although with a few differences. The team are sporting personal protection equipment (PPE) such as gloves and face-coverings and are keeping a safe distance from customers and service users. Bike Loan Scheme – Open to all
Previously, the ForwardMotion Bike Loan Scheme was prioritised for key workers and those unable to work from home. Now, we are pleased to announce that the Bike Loan Scheme has been reopened to all. Personalised Travel Planning – Digital upgrade
You can still order personalised travel plans for your regular journeys online, but now you can talk to one of our Travel Engagement Officers via videocall. Our officers will review your journey with you, identifying ways to be more active, contribute less CO2 to the environment and answer any other questions about your new routes. You can choose which method of video call is best for you when you fill in your personalised travel plan here on the ForwardMotion website.
Cycle Hub Mobile
Our mobile hub has recently been cleared to appear at regular local events, such as public markets. These events will differ based on the organiser’s restrictions, but we hope to be back on the road to a town near you very soon. The hub will ensure to take extra precautions to adhere to hygiene and social distancing guidelines.
