Accessibility

We are committed to providing an accessible website for everyone.

Standards compliance

Our aim is to meet all the requirements of the Website Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

The ForwardMotion website is tested regularly to make sure we meet the standards.

We have tested the website using the following browsers: Chrome (latest version as of November 2018), Safari (latest version as of November 2018), Firefox (latest version as of November 2018), Opera (latest version as of November 2018), Internet Explorer 11, and Edge (latest version as of November 2018).

Image Alt text

As standard we only use Alternative text (or Alt text) for screenreader users where an image presents valuable information. We do not use Alt text where an image is purely decorative.

More accessibility features

The BBC provides lots of accessibility guides on how to change your computer and browser settings to make websites more accessible for you. Check out My Web My Way.
