Free Public Transport Kits for Students in South Essex

Published: 04/11/20

ForwardMotion is proudly working with South Essex train line c2c to deliver free public transportation kits to pupils studying in the area.

This partnership was formed to help pupils to travel as safely as possible when commuting to school or college. c2c and ForwardMotion have recognised that many students studying at South Essex College on both Southend and Thurrock campuses currently use the c2c rail network as their sole mode of transport for commuting. The line is also used by students travelling from farther afield to reach other schools, colleges and even apprenticeship training facilities.

c2c has released this code of conduct for students to follow whilst aboard their trains. Click here to view and download.

ForwardMotion’s Public Transportation kits will feature the essentials for public travel such as neck buffs (to be used as face coverings), water bottles, hand sanitiser and information on how ForwardMotion can help you to make your commute more efficient.

ForwardMotion offers free personalised travel planning to everyone and provides the option to talk through your plan with a member of our Travel Engagement Team via video call.

The Public Transport Kits are for use on any mode of public transport, including buses or the Greater Anglia train line. To get your newly-sanitised hands on one of these kits, contact the ForwardMotion team by emailing hello@forwardmotionsouthessex.co.uk or click here for other ways to get in touch.
