Encourage employees, visitors and customers to cycle with free bike parking

Did you know that businesses and organisations in south Essex can apply for free bike parking from ForwardMotion? We know people can be put off cycling because of worries about bike theft, so secure bike parking can reassure employees, visitors and customers that their two wheels will be safe while they’re inside.

There are lots of different types of bike parking to choose from, including Sheffield or heart shaped stands, wall mounted rails, plant lock stands and bike hangars. To qualify for free bike parking, your business or organisation just needs to be based in south Essex and have employees, visitors or customers who travel to it by bike.

Mark One Hire Ltd, a tool hire and equipment rental company with bases in Basildon, Rayleigh and Southend, is one business that has recently had a ForwardMotion-funded bike hangar installed due to employee demand. Heidi Hayes, Directors PA at Mark One Hire Ltd, commented: “We very much appreciate being part of ForwardMotion’s bike parking scheme. We are sure that our new bike hangar will encourage more of our staff to cycle to work.”
